Inspector Gadget is a psychedelic trance project by California-based DJ and aspiring producer Garrett Tolari. Proudly planted in Sacramento, with musical roots extending across the Bay Area, Garrett discovered trance music in San Francisco in 2017 and immediately became bonded to psytrance. Taking inspiration from the pure love of the music and culture, he started his journey from listener to DJ in 2019, breaking into the scene through performing at Burner parties and forest renegades. The deep connection he felt with the musical elements led him to start experimenting with progressive arrangements, powerful messages, acid leads, and unique bass lines. He is most inspired by the styles of Modus, OXIV, Gorovich, Bigitam, and Captain Hook, and is especially passionate about progressive and Israeli trance. Finally, his live sets and podcast mixes often blend several different styles from around the world to create an electrifying energy that fills the dance floor. 

 

Garrett’s mission is to travel the world to find new music, form friendships that transcend cultural differences, and create experiences that positively impact others. His Fractal Frequencies podcast showcases some of his favorite new releases, while also providing a different guest artist additional support and well-deserved exposure each episode.  

 

After discovering the Comet Musicians in early 2022, Garrett began developing the relationship and sharing their new music in nearly every live performance and podcast episode. After four years of traveling to Europe to attend psytrance events and festivals, the time had come to finally experience the underground music scene in Israel. During his visit to Tel Aviv in 2023, he deeply connected with Israel’s trance community, which led to him being given the opportunity to join the Comets! In continuing to develop his passion for the sounds of Israeli trance, he is driven to learn, create, and spread the positive messages of love and unity to the world.
